Meet The Fockers (DVD) Review
Arguably the very best comedy of 2004, Meet The Fockers is a hilarious, humor-stuffed marathon. Screenwriters Greg Glienna and Mary Ruth Clarke (who really should have received Oscars for their flawless penmanship of Meet The Mothers and fathers) flip in yet another blockbuster manuscript. But, as with its predecessor, Meet The Fockers wouldn’t be the comedy masterpiece it is without the onscreen chemistry of Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. Man if only Adult Swim had been on the air back then. I want this so hard.
did you ever expect that after the release of star wars episode 1 that we would actually enjoy seeing someone rip a picture of george lucas in half?
Ron silver is the fucking man! RIP.
Why was this not picked up?
looks like something that would be on adultswim today
@ZaffireWolf
Because you’re too stupid to understand comedy?
man, that would have been such an awesome show
why is there shows im sorry sh## like jersey shore on when shows like this dont even get picked up
this was the greatest show never made…….. a genius pilot and tv execs never so its vision
for some reason I just really love watching him tear that picture of george lucas in half
it’s funny because I’m sure at the time before episode 1 had come out it just seemed like a weird mean spirited joke, but now it’s extremely prescient and relevant
great show. anywhere online where I can see it?
Today is the birthday of the vilain on that show. Ron Silver. He will be missed. Stiller wrote a nice eulogy to the man. It started with the story of how when Stiller was 12, Ron Silver got him drunk.
TAKE THAT GEORGE LUCAS!
wow. this is amazing!
@tmb770
I get what you mean. The old effects sure had its charm, hadn’t they? Also explains why I love the old Clash Of The Titans movie so much more than the new and “improved” 2010 version. Stop-motion animation movie monsters were so cool!
Frankly, I’d religiously BUY this series on DVD if it ever became avaliable!
@ZaffireWolf You are the reason we cannot have nice things.
Ben Stiller should make this a high budget movie, forget about fox
besides in ’99 not many people respected jack black ben stiller and owen wilson as much as they do today. Make the movie guys ill watch it,
If you like this watch garth Merenghi’s Dark Place… Cllllaaaaaasssiiccc! Yes!
This is why I don’t like actors, or Hollywood.
if it re-aired i would watch it religiously,but only if it kept its early 90′s “mind blowing” special effects.
thanks

I know right?
Same thing with the Firefly episodes although those are available on DVD, FOX originally abandoned it.
I say if you give up on it, you forfeit your profit & kiss that property good-bye as opposed to be douchebags & take it down when you’re not using it
