Mariska Magdolina Hargitay (born January 23, 1964) is an American actress, best known for her function as Detective Olivia Benson on the television plan Law & Purchase: Particular Victims Unit. Hargitay is a winner of a Golden World Award and an Emmy Award. In 1982, Hargitay was crowned Skip Beverly Hills USA, and was fourth runner up at the Skip California USA Pageant in Oxnard. She produced her display screen debut with a tiny role in Star 80. Inside of a couple of a long time she had landed recurring roles in the television sequence Downtown and Falcon Crest, in which she played the character Carly Fixx. She portrayed police officer Angela Garcia in the 1992 sequence Tequila & Bonetti, and appeared in an episode of the fourth time of Seinfeld. Two years later, Hargitay portrayed Didi Edelstein, the alluring up coming-door neighbor, in the 1995 sitcom Can’t Hurry Enjoy, which starred Nancy McKeon. In 1997, Hargitay played detective Nina Echeverria on the drama series Prince Street, and had a recurring position as Cynthia Hooper for the duration of the fourth season of ER. Hargitay has appeared on many other television plans, like: Freddy’s Nightmares, Ellen, All American Girl, Baywatch, Cracker, Gabriel’s Fire, In the Warmth of the Night, JoJo’s Circus, The Single Guy, Wiseguy, and thirtysomething. Her voice is featured on the 2005 video clip sport Correct Crime: New York City. Hargitay also had a small position (“Hooker in Bar”) in the 1995 film Leaving Las Vegas, and briefly changed Gabrielle Fitzpatrick in Mighty Morphin Energy …

Oh, thanks for clear that up. I didin´t know. That´s why they get along so well. It seems to me, like they´re very familar to each other, because they were chatting like little tattletales. No offense, I love Mariska, L&O: SVU. Kathy seems to be likeable, too. She´s got a snappy voice and a gift of the gab. I like that in general. *lol*
