The politics had to happen. It’s kind of hard to explain how a Republic becomes an Empire without them, and it’s not like politics was all the movies were about.
What sexual violence? The closest thing that could be thought of with that is Anakin’s mother being tortured in the Tusken Raider camp, where they gave absolutely no indication of that. It seemed like she was more turned into a slave who they savagely abused.

@darthqueen45 If these movies are for people at a young age, Why is there a lot of confusing politics in the first prequel, scenes suggesting sexual violence in the second and in the third film an overlong fight scene which kills dramatic tension? Another question is why is the the plot so convoluted in the 1st prequel ? Watch Red Letter Media to understand what I mean. George was a good director in 1977 but since then, he has done fuck all See Spielberg who went from Jaws to Schindler’s List.

The banana part was genius. A great satire of the “fun” that Lucas now throws into movies, like the Gopher in Indiana Jones 4.
So did Peter Jackson stick to the original novel? Like fuck he did! Arwen with a sword. Lets make Elrond’s motives completely opposite to the original. I bet Jackson never realised that Aragorn and Arwen are cousins!

@JVCFelix Leave Lucas alone, eople are being totally unfair to him and the whole way Lucas bashing started is pretty sad. He is a great filmaker and all six SW films rock, people just had unreasonabl expactations, he is also one of the two creators of the great Indiana Jones movies and American Graffiti, he also influenced tge technology for many other great movies and he made: Body Heat and The Land Before Time.

Alsio about The Leia remembers thing, uhh didn`t in the OT caracters often know stuff threw the force, and lofgicly if Leia and Luke were 2 1/2 then uh hoew come Luke can`tt remember anytghing, so this solution seems betrer since Padm did fir L;ei`as abeautifull but sad discriptyion. @ming746 Oke uh I will start of by saying there are few articles that discrivbe the writing off all 4 screendrafts for Empire, and those odf wiki just happen yo be 1 of the few, annd claiming wwiki is unreliabl is rediculous cause they have great moderators and sources. Also uh Lucas talked about how he came up with and what the ide of The Battle of Hoth in inteerviews!!!!!!!!
@Drwhodunnit1973 well back in the 80s lucas always said luke and leia would be 2 and a half yrs old in episode 3. hence the fact that leia remebered her real mother. just another example of lucas fucking things up.

@MulletPuppet well in his defense he is only 16 and really does not know any better. us older fans grew up reading and watching lucas interviews back in the 80s before he changed everything and started telling lies. we know the truth. so dies kurtz and others who keep calling lucas out..reviewer just needs to do some research from reliable sites and start believing in the truth and facts and stop being bias and believing in things HE WANTS TO BELIEVE IN. maybe 1 day he will.

@ming746 Uh Lucas wS uncredited co-screenwriter, after eight Bracket died most of he draft wa discarded ans Lucas wtote the scecond and third draft whic wee most of what got ito the scriopt. Thye he hadnded it of too Kasdan wjo imopressed hi wit his Raider`s script. About the dierecting jus as with Jedi, More American FGrafitie and Raiders Lucas served as second unit director too helpsped uo production, he uindeed mostly alliwed him his wa but he did take over a couple of times and was uncrdited
@reviewreviewer1 dude you are either lying to yuorself or you have no idea what u are talking about. the scrreenplay for epiosde 5 was writen by lawernce kasdan and partially by leigh bracket. kershner directed it. and both kersh and kurtz said lucas was on the set MAYBE 2 times during the entire filming and kershner said he was pleased that lucas left him alone and let him do things his own way. lucas even says so on the commentary of the dvd that its kershners film. u need to research

Lucas was the maker of IV and the director writer ad excecutive producer., and he 2. did have ALOT to do with V first of all again he was the maer nd had the las word, second he was akso co-writer witth Kasdan, and Both second unit and co-director with KAIRSHER AND EXCECUTIVE ORODUCER WTH kKurtz.
@TheQARK lucas is a loser and a lier and an untalanted pos. he ruined star wars with those garbage prequels. he had talant at one time and wanted to make great films but then his focus turned into selling toys and making money. it started wih return of the jedi. a new hope was excellent empire was even better. thank god he had almost nothing to do with episode 5. thats why its so great. he kept his paws off of it.kershner,kurtz, Kasdan thank you for episode 5
