Mr. DiCaprio, thank you for your invitation to tell what it is we are doing for the natural world in this time of great change…
We seek to change human consciousness.
Please review our attached work/youtube videos. I will be at the Conscious Life Film Expo 2011 on the 13th – EMF has been invited to share its work – one film short will be shown at Zecharia Sitchin’s Memorial Tribute – another will open Drunvalo Mechizedek’s workshop.
Sooooo cute , soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (:
He’s a really good actor.
@ezeeskank Only an oil troll would be pushing co2 emissions, get real

From fires to floods – is this the future?

Australian farmers have always been forced to adapt to variable weather patterns, but climate change may lead to a permanent rise in the extreme droughts and floods of recent years, say climate and agricultural scientists.

Urgent bid for survival
.
The urgent needs of countries already affected by climate change need to be addressed by the global community. And perhaps nowhere is that urgency more stark than in Kiribati, a small Pacific Island nation at risk of being swallowed by rising seas.

What’s under the Dead Sea?
.
Scientists in Israel are drilling into the murky depths of the Dead Sea in hopes of unearthing scientific treasures hidden in 500,000 years’ worth of mud and sediment. The findings may answer scientific questions in fields ranging from geology to archaeology and could lead to new insight into climate change.

@AQUAMARINETMI although these are good to focus on, we won’t have to worry about the hungry, the homeless and the diseased if there is no earth to live on :/
good but focus on the poor children of this world
the hungry
the homeless
those stricken with diseases
who all need our help now in this moment
Global Warming is a non-issue because whether it’s real or not, politicians would only try to make money off the problem. Politicians just shuffle money around and reap some of the benefits because politics in general is just a job about making money & nothing further. Nothing will change as far as how we treat our environment until we solve the root problem of human society which is how we think. As Einstein said, “You can’t solve problems of today with the same mindset you used creating them.”
The skeptics of man-made global warming are the largest whistle-blowing group of scientists there has ever been.
Thousands of pro-bono scientists are speaking out and rising up in protest. The list includes two skeptical Nobel Physics Prize winners, four elite Astronauts, hundreds of eminent scientists, and 9000 PhD’s.

Climatologist Dr. David Deming (cont.):
“Normally in science, when you have a novel result that appears to overturn previous work, you have to demonstrate why the earlier work was wrong. But the work of Mann and his colleagues was initially accepted uncritically, even though it contradicted the results of more than 100 previous studies.
Other researchers have since reaffirmed that the Medieval Warm Period was both warm and global in its extent. “
Climatologist Dr. David Deming (cont.):
But now the MWP was a major embarrassment to those maintaining that the 20th century warming was truly anomalous. It had to be “gotten rid of”.
In 1999, Michael Mann and his colleagues published a [paper] in which the MWP simply vanished. This unique estimate became known as the “hockey stick,”…

Climatologist Dr. David Deming:
“The week [my research paper] appeared, I was contacted by a reporter for National Public Radio. He offered to interview me, but only if I would state that the warming was due to human activity. When I refused to do so, he hung up on me…
I received an astonishing email from another researcher. He said, “We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period.” The existence of the MWP had been recognized in the scientific literature for decades.

@ttowntom
I see you’re going for conspiracy theory gold today. Demagoguery at it’s finest. On the whole, you are unable to counter science with science, so you change tactics; attacking, demonizing and harassing the learned men making the scientific observations themselves.
Any scientist that disagrees with your political viewpoint is now part of a “cabal” and even the peer review process itself is suspect.
It’s all very predictable
@ttowntom
You mean the “scientific objectivity” from environmental scientists who are getting billions a year for a field they will always say “needs more study”?
Please name a single field of study that will one day no longer need to be studied.
“The objectivity that led them to ignore the evidence of the Medieval Warm Period and Roman Warm Periods? ”
A lie uttered by a known liar – no surprise
The objectivity that caused this same small cabal of environmentalists to conspire to remove anyone who disagreed with them from the IPCC staff? Which causes them to “peer review” rubber-stamp each others papers, and not only reject anything they disagree with, but attempt to get their scientific opponents expelled from their positions? The same objectivity that had them asking their colleagues to delete evidence of incriminating emails, in response to freedom-of-information requests?
You mean the “scientific objectivity” from environmental scientists who are getting billions a year for a field they will always say “needs more study”? The objectivity that led them to ignore the evidence of the Medieval Warm Period and Roman Warm Periods? (events which were both extraordinarily beneficial for mankind)? Or the PETM, a period that warmed 4X as much as GW is predicted to cause, and actually caused most species to increase and flourish?
