Some advice to all the young people who decide to play this fabulous sport. Play every down like it’s your last. You never know when it will be. I was a senior in high school, playing in our fourth game of the season. got a helmet on helmet dirty hit when running the ball, and my season, and high school football career was over. One down, one snap, one yard, give it one hundred percent. You never know when it might be your last.

Now all you under classmen that are playing ball right now i’ll tell you what football flies by so fast. And all you guys worried about football scholarships and all that junk dont worry about that. Enjoy the moment yall have with together. The honest to God truth college ball aint as good as Highschool football to be honest with yea. So enjoy it and leave no regreats.

Hey man I feel you, I’m 18 and now have to give up football. It’s the most amazing game in the world, and I love it with all my heart. Final play of my senior season, it was 4th and 3 with 1:02 left we were losing 31 to 35. I took the ball up the guy blew through the mike backer, got into the end zone and tore my acl, meniscus, dislocated my kneecap and tore all my tendons in my left leg. But to you man Stay Strong Brother!
i wish i could go back to last fall to play my senior yr over again. nobody has ever seen a closely knit unit like we were. we’ve won state 3 of the last 4yrs but u never want to put the pads away. when we play for state we play for the coaches, our town, and for everybody who doesn’t get the chance we get to be on the big stage playing until u can’t walk anymore and when its all done and said ur like wow its over now what am i gonna do friday nights. i wish everybody luck with their seasons.

If you can muster the courage to get through the workouts, you’ll thank yourself for it a thousand times down the road. Training sucks but there’s nothing in the world that can match the feeling of putting on those pads and being a part of a team. Even if you don’t win state this year or next, you just keep working and make sure you can help carry the load. Even if you never win state, you always get to know that you lived up to your potential and you let nobody down.

@Lance010290 that must suck with cancer, im sorry, but i know that you loved football so much, I havno clue or don’t even know, but I bet when you were getting taking off after the fumble or something like that, I just bet you were thinking “I’m hurt, its painful, but I’m a champion forever” and you just look at your ring and say “Damn, I loved that time” because i and everyone knows like you said, YOU were the reason that your team were champions, and you’ll never forget that
